Services Individual Therapy for Children and Adolescents Individual therapy provides a safe, confidential space for children to share and express their thoughts and feelings through modalities like directed play, art therapy and sand play. Individual Therapy for Adults Deciding when to see a therapist is often a difficult decision. Maybe you are going through a life change like separation, divorce, a job change, or are having trouble with relationships, or are just not feeling yourself. Perhaps sleeping or concentrating is more difficult, and you no longer find joy in your life. These are times when seeing a qualified, licensed psychotherapist can help to bring about positive change. Together, during a time that is your time, in a safe, confidential environment, we will work to discover your goals, to heal, and begin your personal journey to the place you would like to be in your life. Parent Support Parenting a hurting child is at times painful and stressful to each individual parent and to the parenting couple. It can fill one with a sense of despair or anger. Exploring and sharing those feelings is often a first step to finding ways to channel the energy that is a part of those feelings and use that energy to help your child and yourself. Consultation with Teachers, School Administration, Other Health Providers Let our years of experience working with the people who make up your child's educational team as well as the health providers who support your child, work for you. We will work with them on behalf of your child, while at the same time, help you to prepare for meetings and learn what you need to know to successfully advocate for your child. Family Therapy When one child in the family is having difficulty it affects the relationships between every family member. In family therapy, each member of the family has the opportunity to explore, and where needed, repair stressed relationships. Group Therapy Group therapy is a safe, structured environment where children practice social interaction with their peers. |
